Vacancy Information
As you probably know already, our Rector Alan Jenkins will be retiring at the end of January. We are immensely grateful for all he and his wife Suzie have given to St Nicolas and Great Bookham over the last 18 years and we will miss them hugely.
However, this means we must turn our minds to his successor, and whilst we go through that recruitment process there will an interregnum or vacancy period.
We will use this page to provide updates and resources on planning for that recruitment and vacancy period.
Initial Congregational Meeting
On Tuesday 1 September, Archdeacon Martin Breadmore and Diocesan Clergy Appointments Officer Sarah Bolton visited St Nicolas to explain the Vacancy process.
