House Groups
At St Nicolas we have nine House groups meeting at different times throughout the month, and some information about these can be found below. We meet to study the Bible, usually using a prepared study guide, we pray together, and discuss many different issues.
House groups are also places where deep and long lasting friendships can form and where we can support each other in the joys and sorrows of life. Different views are always respected in these groups and everyone is free to participate at a level with which they are comfortable. As our house groups are places of fellowship as well as learning, they often also have social events, where we can relax and just enjoy chatting together.

Monday Morning Group, weekly, 10.30 – 12 noon. An ecumenical group with 5 members.
Silent Prayer Group, once a month on the 4th Monday, 12 – 12.45 pm. 4 members, meeting for 25mins of silent prayer, using Bible passages.
Group ‘89, twice a month on 2nd & 4th Mondays, 7.30 - 9 pm. 11 members, meeting in homes.
Emmaus Group, fortnightly on Tuesdays 10.30 am - 12 noon. 9 members, meeting in homes or the Church Room.
Continuum Group, fortnightly on Tuesdays, 7.30 - 9.15 pm. 5 members, meeting in homes.
4w. Group, fortnightly on Tuesdays, 7.30 - 9 pm, sometimes weekly for particular studies. 9 members, with a focus on welcome, worship, word and witness.
Wednesday Group, twice a month on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 7.30 - 9 pm. 7 women of all ages. Prayer support aiming to grow deeper in faith.
Credo Group , once a month on 4th Thursday, 2.30 - 4 pm. 8 members, meeting in homes.
Trinity Group, twice a month on 1st & 3rd Thursdays, 7.30 – 9.30 pm. 10 members, meeting in homes.
