About us

St Nicolas Church is a place for everybody.  We are passionate about helping families and young people to settle at  Church and seek to support and encourage them in their faith.  Even if you are not quite sure (or are!) what you believe you are still more than welcome at any family event, any service and your children or teenagers are still more than welcome at any of our groups or events for them.  You can keep up to date with the activities for families by signing up to our email list using the, "What's on for families" form below.

 

We believe that our God is a wonderful God who created children and youth with their sense of fun, their liveliness and every unique characteristic which they have.  As such we seek to ensure all our children's and youth work is FUN, inspiring, relevant and develops the whole person they will one day be.

Safeguarding

As a church we are committed to keeping children & young people safe.  We follow the Church of England national policies for safeguarding and all regular volunteers have been DBS checked and have received the necessary training in Safeguarding measures.
