Musical worship at St Nicolas
O' Come let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Psalm 95 v 1

Music is an incredibly important part of our worship at St Nicolas and we are blessed with both a traditional Choir, with an organist, and those who are able to play more contemporary worship songs as well. All of these people make up an essential part of the life of St Nicolas and both are always eager to welcome new members, passionate about worshipping God through music.

Our Choir
Our sung worship at our main 10am service is led by our choir under our Director of Music, Helen Turner. The choir rehearses weekly on a Thursday Evening between 7:45pm and 9pm. A short rehearsal is held before the service at 9:30am.

For our services of Holy Communion our choir are robed and sing with our organ, played by our organist, Steven Salmon. On the first Sunday of each month the choir are not robed and join with our music group at our services of morning praise.
