Regular Giving
We are very fortunate that many St Nicolas parishioners give regularly and generously to support our work - perhaps you would like to join them? We support three ways of doing this.
Standing Orders
The best way to give regularly, from our perspective at least, is by Standing Order. If you give in this way we can plan securely for our ministry with confidence in our income. Also, thanks to the work of our Gift Aid Secretary, Anne Salmon, we can reclaim Gift Aid on eligible donations without paying a fee to a service such as the Charities Aid Foundation.
Please complete the Standing Order and Gift Aid forms you can download here and send them to Anne via the Parish Office or by email to giving@stnicolasbookham.org.uk . Of course, and a better and faster option, you can set a Standing Order up directly with your bank using the details from the form, but in that case please do advise Anne.
Direct Debit via CAF Online
If you prefer to give via an online portal, we are set up with CAF Online for this purpose. This works very well, including the recovery of Gift Aid. CAF apply a small charge of 2% for this service.
Envelope Scheme
If you wish to give regularly, but prefer to place your offering in the collection bag during a service, then we offer a scheme where you have a numbered weekly envelope so that your gift can be recognised. However, handling cash in this way is labour intensive for us and if a standing order is possible for you we would be grateful if you would choose that option. If you wold like to join the envelope scheme, again please email Anne at giving@stnicolasbookham.org.uk or contact the Parish Office
Thank You
