From the Chancel to the Sanctuary

There are very many people who graciously give of their time to help the congregation enter fully into our services of worship.
On this page we describe the many roles involved, and invite you to consider whether you may be called to serve in one of these ways.
While some roles are open only to trained and licenced ministers, many are open to the layity, and we encourage lay participation in the conduct of our worship at St Nicolas.
In all of these roles you become a member of a team who share the responsibility and support one another, willing to step in when someone else is unable to fulfil their duty.
When using the "Contact Me" button, please include your name, contact details and the reason for your request. If you want a copy of the request, please add yourself to the address line.

Musicians and Singers
Music is very much at the heart of our 10am Sunday worship, as well as at other special and occassional services. The contribution to church life of our organist, instrumentalists and choir are always highly appreciated.
Music at St Nicolas is lead by our Director of Music. You can learn more about the music life of St Nicolas, or contact the Director of Music on our Music Web Page.
