Churches Together in Bookham
Churches Together in Bookham is a fellowship of five Christian churches in Bookham seeking to work and worship together, and to engage with the Community for the benefit of Bookham. Within the churches, through prayer, study, worship and discussion, everyone is encouraged to strengthen their faith and to share it with others. Each church brings a rich history of its tradition which benefits others and strengthens the whole. There are regular meetings of all the clergy and monthly prayer meetings are open to all.
We are represented on the Committee of Bookham Residents Association and work closely with Bookham Traders through BRABA to organise the Late Night Shopping in December. Other events include a Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January, a Joint Event at Easter, an Open Air Service in Village Week and distribution of a Christmas Cardto the community (the Christmas Charity Post) in December.
You can see some of the fun we got up to in the St Nicolas Pastoral Centre with Santa's grotto and craft activities at Late Night Shopping. Every year the Pastoral Centre is opened as a family area - why not come and join us at Christmas!
