Who are the St Nicolas Creche?
The Crèche is run by a dedicated team of CRB checked parent helpers who will look after and play with the children during our Sunday morning service - there is no need to book a place in the Crèche, simply bring your child to the vestry during the second hymn of the service (don't worry if you've not been to St Nicolas Church before, you'll see all the other parents set off to the Crèche at the same time!).
There is a wide selection of toys and books for the children to play with so you can feel comfortable that we love to include our kids in the life of the church – noise and all!
What have you got planned?
For those with very little ones, for whom it might be the first time you've left baby with anyone, the Crèche is in the vestry, so you are never too far away from you little ones and you can pop in and out as you want! From 3 onwards children are very welcome in the Sunday Schools run at the church. However, if your child is 3 or over but isn't quite sure about joining in the Sunday School then please feel free to speak to one of the helpers - children are always very welcome in the church!
Where? When?
The St Nicolas Crèche meets during our 10am Sunday morning worship, giving parents the opportunity to enjoy the church service without having to be concerned with looking after their children. It provides a safe environment for children up the age of 3 to play together. The Crèche runs every Sundays except for Family Services (the 1st Sunday of each month) or on Christmas day.
Who should we contact?
