How to Read the Bible

How to Read to Bible for all Its Worth

For many of us, the Bible has a central place in our Christian lives, yet much of it remains a mystery.  The plain truth is that some parts of the Bible can be difficult to read, and understanding how to apply it to our lives is often a mystery. In 1995, Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart published the first edition of their book How to Read to Bible for All Its WorthNow in its third edition, it has gone on to sell more than half a million copies, and is recognised as one of the best books about learning how to engage with the Bible.

This course was last run in October 2009.

No prior knowledge is required, and anyone is welcome.  There is no cost involved, but attendees will need a copy of How to Read to Bible for All Its Worth, which will be the text book for the course (around £8.00).
