The Social & Events committee was formed for two reasons, firstly to raise funds for St Nicolas and secondly to continue the various social events which took place whilst we were raising funds to build the Pastoral Centre.

Many of the events organised throughout the year are supported by the whole village community. Many members of the local Wine Tasting Club joined us for the Wine Tasting evening in May, Bridge players in Bookham enjoy an afternoon playing Bridge, with tea.

Other events include celebrating Burns' Night, a Parish quiz, various Musical Concerts and recitals, Card Making Days and a Christmas Fair. We have also produced Notelets for sale and have a Christmas Pudding with a picture of St Nicolas on the lid!
