Here are a few of the current opportunities for service at St Nicolas. Could God be calling you?

Health and Safety Officer

We as churches have to make sure that we comply with existing Health and Safety requirements. Do you have skills in this area? Please speak with Graham Aslet.

Magazine Sub-Editors

An exciting new-look magazine has already been agreed, and there is already a small team in place. However, the team needs boosting if the magazine is to have a future. Please speak with Alan Jenkins.

Social and Events

Each year the Social and Events Committee organises a really good cross-section of events. A lot of hard work takes place behind the scenes. Why not see if your gifts can be used? Please speak with Pam Secker.

Church Cleaning

Our team does a fantastic job keeping the church looking good. However, it needs strengthening. Would you be willing to give an hour or two once every few weeks? Please speak with Anna Brereton.

Servers

We all benefit from the ministry of those who are willing to serve at our 10.00am and 11.15am services. There is, though, scope for others to join the team. If you would like to know more, please speak with Pat Davison.

Pathfinders

St Nicolas has an extremely enthusiastic Pathfinder group (aged 10-14). Could you give some time to this age group, either to help run the programme or to lead a short session of teaching (materials provided)? Please speak with Pete Dyson.

Parish Stewardship Promoter

Each of the churches in the Guildford Diocese is seeking to nominate someone whose role is to encourage responsible financial giving. The time you give to this would largely be up to you. Main attribute required: enthusiasm! Please speak with Alan Jenkins.

Choir

Although our choir does very well and benefits from the commitment of many, it may be that the Lord is calling you to use your gift of singing as a member of the choir. Please speak with Peter Lutton.
