Youth Groups
Last Updated (Saturday, 11 June 2011 08:53)
For young people who have outgrown Pathfinders (aged about 13 plus) we form small nurture groups. These are often set up with a group of young people who have prepared together for their confirmation, but you do not have to be confirmed to join a group. The groups decide for themselves when and how often they will meet and are involved in developing their own programme. This will usually include a mixture of fun stuff, stuff about faith and opportunities to think about the issues facing young Christians in today’s world. Special projects which have been done by recent groups have included making a film, 24 hour famine, and offering a service of worship based on Chocolate.
Currently there are two such groups, Today's Catch (aged 16/17) and Flaming Fishes (aged 13/15)

The church also supports with volunteer supervisors Bookham Band Nights and Youth Café, for more information about these please follow the link to Bookham Youth Centre.
